Addiction Treatment Programs in Costa Mesa

At Safe & Sound Treatment, clients work their way from drug addiction and dependence to a life of sobriety. Of course, this doesn’t happen overnight. That’s why our programs are designed with different levels of care to guide you through your recovery journey properly.

Every level of care is designed to meet the needs of each unique person through the stages of recovery. Through each level, our clients receive several therapeutic treatments to heal them at the core.

Each level of care works through the following:

• Drug & Alcohol Detoxification — Most clients come to us with a chemical dependency on their drug of choice. Getting them clean is the first step. To make this process safe and more comfortable, we offer a medically assisted detox at our residential detox center to those who need it.
• Inpatient Residential Treatment — After you or your loved one graduates past detoxification, they may continue to an inpatient addiction treatment setting that allows them to focus on their recovery 24/7.
• Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) — A PHP program is a step down from residential treatment. During PHP, a client receives the same comprehensive addiction treatment but does not stay overnight at the Costa Mesa treatment center. In PHP, clients are asked to come in five days a week for six hours a day.
• Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) — IOP is the typical next step in recovery after clients have 30 to 60 days of continuous sobriety. Here, the recovering client can continue to learn about themselves and their disease and transition to a productive, sober lifestyle. In IOP, clients are asked to come in five days a week for three hours a day.
